The Montessori school project is complete. It turned out great. A 19 foot rope bridge connects the two structures with a slide to get down. This has been a really fun project and the kids are very excited.

Village Green Arborists LLC is a Portland based, family owned company dedicated to keeping urban trees healthy and green. Austin Wienecke, head arborist and owner, has a passion for tree care and a parallel, not to mention symbiotic, passion for treehouses. VGA designs and builds custom treehouses to suite our clients needs. Whether those needs be a treefort, a playhouse, a treeoffice, an arialstudy, a pleasantly non precarious perch or a unique place for guests to quarter while in town, VGA can design and construct it. With certified arborists always on hand, we make sure the tree is healthy and well cared for before, during and after construction.
If you have trees but have no need for a treehouse, that is ok too. As tree care professionals VGA is versed in tree hazard diagnostics, ornamental pruning, mature tree pruning, structural cabling to support failing trees and when conditions warrant, tree removals.

In the coastal hills between Eugene and Ashland stands a giant. The tallest Douglas fir in the world. No trace recreational tree climbing at its best.

REX treehouse
It was treehouses that brought VGA and the REX project together. When Shannon, who's brain child the Reuse Everything Experiment was, asked us to build one for her son out of recycled material from her deconstructed house, we were excited to meet the challenge. While mix and matching material from the REX used-material storage box, a quilt like treehouse came to life. One of a kind, we at Village Green Arborists hope that Shannon's son and the whole family enjoy the treehouse that recycling built. www.shannonquimby.com/rex/
